I believe that each individual has the capacity to create lasting positive change. Whether you are beginning the journey of therapy for the first time or are revisiting to help you get through a difficult situation, therapy can help you to feel more positive, confident, and in control of your life.  

Individuals seek help for a variety of reasons. I aim to create a safe and encouraging environment in which you are free to explore the areas that you are currently struggling with. Through a thoughtful, tailored approach, I guide my clients to increase self awareness, develop new insights, and improve their overall sense of well being. Research has shown that one of the most important factors that influence successful outcomes in therapy is the relationship one has with his/her therapist. As a result, it is key to feel a good fit with your therapist of choice. I offer weekly to twice weekly individual psychotherapy.  When appropriate, I may also provide longer or double sessions.  My approach to psychotherapy is collaborative, thoughtful, and encouraging.
